Inspiration

reativity and inspiration are the two things that continue to remind me how lacking I am in the area of free time or personal time. I have two small girls, 2 1/2 and 7 months old, that don't really allow me to complete, or even begin all the ideas that I come up with or find from other bloggers.

I just had my own little lightning bolt of inspiration and I really hope I can get around to doing it. I've been thinking about painting furniture. I get this e-newsletter from The Inspired Room and there's always painted furniture on there. Everybody's doing it, but I don't have anything I want to risk painting, except that rocking horse Grandpa made for the girls that's just bare wood and needs painting and the shelf he also made them that I've been supposed to paint for a couple months now... but besides those. You know, like real furniture pieces.

Ok, now that I've managed to build this up way too much and get you much too hopeful for something fantastic, I might let you down.

My amazing idea was to paint the tray tables (there are now only 3 from the original set of 4... don't ask) I've had since college. Isn't that a stroke of genius? in a very small way? They are that terrible (no offense if you like this) light oak color that I used to love, but now, not so much. I've never seen colored tray tables. How unique!

I'll show you for sure if I ever get the chance to do them.
